Beekeeping Workshop

Come join in for a workshop on the wonderful world of honeybees and beekeeping with master beekeeper, Roger Moss. Learn about how to start up a hive and the importance of bees and how we can support the health of pollinators.
Saturday, April 11th
10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Honey bees are foundational to the environment and human food security, providing over $15 billion in U.S. crop pollination value annually. They are responsible for pollinating roughly one-third of the global food supply, including most fruits, nuts, and vegetables, while ensuring biodiversity by maintaining wild plant ecosystems
Registration for just the workshop is $20. per adult and $5. per child accompanied by an adult. Registration in advance is required.
EVENT COSTS:
- You can join the Oasis Honey CSA. The cost of a 1-year membership is $40. It includes registration for the beekeeping workshop, periodic updates on how the bees are doing during the warm seasons and through the winter, and a 1-pound jar of honey from Oasis Apiary! Fence Road Brewery
